Hi, I’m Biggi and I am the founder of Wildwing Yoga. I help people regain confidence in their body with accessible yoga and mobility exercises tailored to their specific needs.
There was a time in my life when because of an injury I could no longer work in the profession I loved. Through yoga and movement I have reclaimed my mobility and physical confidence. Yoga has reconnected me with my body and as a result with joy and an appreciation of life.
I have always been absorbed in both a creative and a meditative approach to life. I am a deeply curious person and rather than knowing where I might end up, I let myself be guided by a questioning mind.
My teaching follows a similar approach. It comes from a point of inquiry into what you, my student, my fellow yoga practitioner discovers within yourself as well as where I as a teacher can offer guidance. I am interested in you discovering and moving towards what feels alive and nourishing. It is an unfolding of questions and answers as I guide you to allow the practice to be a living and creative process.
In my personal life apart from a number of creative passions, I love food and nature, which means when I’m not teaching I’m most likely in the garden planting or harvesting organic fruits and vegetables or in the kitchen turning said vegetables into something tasty. I may also simply be sitting and listening to a bird singing their song somewhere in the trees and bushes or watching the wildlife that passes on occasion through the garden.
Looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
Biggi
